Since completing post-graduate directing at the VCA in 1997 Beng has tackled a wide assortment of plays. Recent productions include CLOSER by Patrick Marber at Brightspace for TaDaa Productions and PORCELAIN by Chay Yew for La Mama. Other productions include NEWTOWN HONEY by Marty Denniss, THE NERO CONSPIRACY by Enzo Condello, THE STAFFROOM by Steve Wheat, WHERE’S MY MONEY? by John Patrick Shanley and AND BABY MAKES SEVEN by Paula Vogel (the last two for Red Stitch). His passions include extreme theatre, food, wine, Handel operas and Mario Kart Wii.
