Deborah has been teaching theatre technology, drama or theatre studies at Holmesglen for 12 years. This has included producing 16 one-act play seasons and creating 5 devised works with the Certificate 1 in Transition Education students.
During her time at Holmesglen she met the people with whom she formed Grainfed
Theatre, after they reignited her personal involvement in acting.
Her creative career has included performing in GULLS, DOLORES STREET, ANGELS
OF POWER, MRS X and MOTHER OF A LIFE playing violin with ‘idlefingers’ a
folk-rock trio and singing with MGLC. With Grainfed she has performed in
THE LOST AND THE FOUND, WRITE ONE DOT COM, DATE ANYONE DOT COM and The 2006
production of THE STAFFROOM. She has seen two of her plays performed, HER
SISTER’S LOVER and BRACES AND BOWS. She is married with two young sons.
