A recent graduate from the National Theatre and recipient of the Joan Harris AM award James has performed in a number of stage shows with the National Theatre.

More recently in 2008 he has performed a solo show in HEADS AND TALES at the Butterfly Club and as Larry in Patrick Marber's CLOSER at Brightspace. Aside from the theatre performances James has appeared in RUSH, CANAL ROAD, THE SECRET and NOISE.
